FM200 is a firefighting agent that relies primarily on chemical action, supported by physical effects, to extinguish fires. It is colorless, tasteless, low in toxicity, and non-conductive. After discharge, it leaves no particulate or oily residue, protecting valuable equipment and facilities from pollution or damage.
FM200 extinguishes fire at a low agent density and requires only a small storage footprint. Its high critical temperature and low critical pressure allow it to be liquefied in a container at room temperature. The agent does not deplete the atmospheric ozone layer and has an atmospheric lifetime of approximately 31–42 years, meeting environmental protection requirements.
FM200 is a clean gas agent that vaporizes completely in the atmosphere without leaving residue, and it offers excellent electrical insulation in the gas phase. It is suitable for extinguishing electrical fires through total flooding, as well as fires involving fusible solids, liquids, and solid surfaces.
Typical applications include computer rooms, communication rooms, transformer rooms, precision instrument rooms, generator rooms, oil depots, chemical flammable material warehouses, online libraries, libraries, archives, and treasuries. With a reasonable structure and reliable operation, FM200 fire suppression systems are widely used in computer rooms, archives, program-controlled exchange rooms, TV broadcasting centers, financial institutions, government agencies, and other critical facilities.
