Product Description

FM200 (HFC-227ea) is a colorless, tasteless, non-corrosive, and electrically insulating extinguishing gas that leaves no residue or pollution after discharge. Its Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) is zero, making it an environmentally friendly extinguishing agent. These properties also make it suitable for special locations where electrical fires are likely to occur.

Combined with the extinguishing device and electronic accessories, the entire system can be actuated automatically. It monitors the protected area through detectors and can then activate the extinguishing device via a solenoid actuator automatically. This enables fully automated operation, eliminating the risk of an unnoticed fire and reducing the cost of personnel required to supervise the protected area.

Applications

Ideal for electronic computer rooms, data processing centers, telecommunications facilities, process control rooms, expensive medical equipment, industrial equipment, libraries, museums and art galleries, clean rooms, anechoic chambers, emergency power facilities, and flammable liquid storage areas.

Also suitable for locations where fires are likely to occur, such as paint-spraying production lines, aging electrical equipment, rolling machines, printing machines, oil switches, oil-immersed transformers, melt impregnating tanks, storage tanks, large generators, drying equipment, cement production processes involving pulverized coal, and ship engine rooms and cargo holds.

Installation Notes

One cabinet or multiple cabinet type FM200 units may serve one zone.
Ensure sufficient space in the protected area to place the unit, such as a corner or the edge of a wall.
Compare the height of the cabinet with the room height before installation.
The room volume should be smaller than 1600 cubic meters, and the protected area should not exceed 500 square meters.
