FM200 is a relatively new and compact segment of gas fire-fighting, yet it has become increasingly popular worldwide. Thanks to its inherent advantages — odorless, colorless, and non-toxic — the FM200 fire suppression system is widely regarded as the best substitute for the popular halon-type fire suppression systems. Its most attractive feature is that it causes no damage to the ozone layer, with even a 1% possibility ruled out. Although the complete system appears complex, it is in fact easy to install.

This FM200 fire-fighting equipment is only suitable for occupied rooms or spaces, because it uses the total flooding method to extinguish fires.

The pipe network model of the FM200 fire suppression system consists of three parts: the pipe network, the fire-fighting equipment, and the electrical elements. The latter two parts are explained below.
