The 3 kg FM200 Fire Detection Tube System is a self-contained, direct-type fire suppression solution engineered to the GB25972-2010 standard. It combines fire detection and extinguishing in a single, compact device, making it an ideal choice for environments where conventional fixed fire alarm systems, piping, or nozzles are difficult to install.

This device detects fires using a pressurized fire trace tube connected to an extinguishing agent store. The extinguishing agent may be either carbon dioxide or HFC-227ea (FM200).

The system is designed to support both direct release and indirect release discharge modes. In direct release, the fire trace tube itself both detects the fire and discharges the extinguishing agent through the ruptured tube. In indirect release, the fire trace tube serves only as the detection element and triggers the immediate discharge of the extinguishing agent through a separate release tube.

The fire trace extinguishing device is an effective remedy for the lack of fixed firefighting equipment, as it can be deployed in locations where installing fire alarm systems, pipes, or nozzles is impractical — such as small spaces or unusual conditions.

Because of its flexible, soft construction, the fire detecting tube can be routed wherever a fire is likely to occur. When a fire breaks out in a cabinet, for example, it may spread quickly and rupture the fire detecting tube. The resulting change in air pressure causes the fire agent to be released and sprayed out of the rupture point to extinguish the fire.

At the same time, a small alarm bell mounted on top of the fire extinguisher alerts users to the presence of a fire, prompting them to investigate and refill the system.

No electrical parts or pipe fittings are required to build a system with this extinguishing device — it functions as a complete, self-contained fire suppression system.

Consists of a cylinder, a fire detecting tube with a maximum length of 25 meters, a container valve, and one of two agent types: CO₂ or FM200.

Includes the same components as the direct type, with the addition of a release tube. In this configuration, the fire detecting tube is used solely for detection, while the release tube handles agent discharge.

1. Easy transportation and installation. The system integrates firefighting and alarm functions together and requires no matching electrical elements or pipe fittings. After installing the cylinder, only the detecting tube needs to be routed around potential fire sources.
2. Manual start mode. The system can be activated without any power supply. Its working principle relies on internal storage pressure rather than an external force — the agent releases once the sensing tube is ruptured by fire.
3. Compact footprint. Rather than protecting an entire zone, this approach is well suited to safeguarding specific systems such as communications networks. The cylinder is mounted outside the cabinet and occupies minimal space.
