FM200 (HFC-227ea) is a colourless, odourless, non-corrosive, and non-conductive clean agent that leaves no residue after discharge. It has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), making it an environmentally friendly fire extinguishing solution. These unique properties make it particularly suitable for protecting high-risk areas where electrical fires are likely to occur.
 

System Types:   The FM200 hanging fire suppression equipment is available in two activation types: temperature‑sensing (thermal) and electromagnetic (electric). Temperature-Sensing Type (Fixed Temperature)   The suspended HFC-227ea fire extinguishing device (fixed temperature) operates using a temperature‑sensitive glass bulb located within the valve. During a fire, when the ambient temperature reaches approximately 68°C, the liquid inside the bulb expands, causing the bulb to rupture. This opens the valve and releases the extinguishing agent. Electromagnetic Type (Electric) The suspended HFC-227ea fire extinguishing device (electromagnetic) consists of an agent storage tank, electromagnetic actuator, nozzle, pressure indicator, and signal feedback components. It can be ceiling‑mounted or wall‑mounted and is designed to work in conjunction with fire detection and alarm devices such as smoke detectors, manual call points, alarm bells, audible alarms, and fire alarm control panels.

Activation Methods:

Temperature Control (Thermal Activation)
This fire extinguishing controller relies on the valve's temperature‑sensitive glass bulb. During a fire, when the temperature reaches approximately 68°C, the bulb automatically ruptures and releases the fire extinguishing agent.

Electromagnetic Control (Electric Activation)
Electromagnetic control is available in two modes: automatic and manual.

Automatic Mode:

The controller is equipped with both a smoke detector and a fixed‑temperature heat detector. A control mode selector is provided on the controller.

• When the selector is set to the "Automatic" position, the system operates in automatic mode.
• If only one detector generates a fire signal, the controller will emit an audible and visual alarm to notify personnel of an abnormal condition, but will not activate the fire extinguishing device.
• If fire extinguishing is confirmed necessary, press the "Emergency Start Button" to manually activate the system.
• When both detectors simultaneously emit fire signals, the controller:
  1.ounds audible and visual alarms to warn personnel and prompt evacuation
  2.Issues linkage commands to shut down fans, fire dampers, and other connected equipment
  3.After a preset delay (typically 30 seconds), issues a fire extinguishing command, activating the solenoid valve and container valve to release the agent
• If activation is no longer required during the alarm delay period, press the "Emergency Stop Button" (located outside the protected area or on the control panel) to cancel the extinguishing command.

Manual Mode:

• When the selector is set to the "Manual" position, the system operates in manual control mode.
• If fire detectors generate an alarm signal, the controller will emit audible and visual alarms but will not activate the extinguishing device.
• After personnel have visually confirmed a fire, they can press the "Emergency Start Button" (outside the protected area or on the control panel) to activate the system and release the agent.
• The alarm signal will continue until manually reset.

Important Note: Regardless of whether the system is in automatic or manual mode, pressing any emergency start button will immediately activate the fire extinguishing device and release the agent. The controller will then enter the fire extinguishing alarm state.
