The pneumatic actuator (also known as pneumatic driver) is installed on container valves or selector valves. When the fire alarm control panel issues an extinguishing command, the pilot cylinder releases high-pressure gas. The gas travels through the pilot line into the pneumatic actuator, pushing an internal blade or piston mechanism to puncture the valve diaphragm or drive the valve stem, thereby opening the valve and releasing the extinguishing agent.
