Product Description

The 120L red HFC-227ea fire suppression system is a factory-assembled, self-contained cabinet unit engineered for total flooding protection of rooms where water-based extinguishing would destroy the very assets it is meant to save. At the heart of the unit sits a 120 litre cylinder finished in high-visibility red epoxy, filled with HFC-227ea (heptafluoropropane) clean agent to a maximum working weight of 114 kg. Because the agent is stored as a liquefied gas and discharged as a colourless, electrically non-conductive vapour, the system extinguishes a fire in under ten seconds and leaves no powder, foam or water residue behind. Each cabinet arrives pre-piped, pre-wired and pressure tested, so commissioning on site is reduced to fixing the enclosure, connecting DC24V power and running the discharge nozzle into the protected room.

Key Features
  • 120L High-Capacity Cylinder: A single 120 litre cylinder carries up to 114 kg of HFC-227ea, giving one compact cabinet enough agent to protect a room volume that would otherwise require two or three smaller units.
  • Red Epoxy-Coated Cylinder Shell: The bright red finish follows international fire equipment colour coding, makes the unit immediately identifiable during inspection rounds, and resists corrosion in humid plant rooms and coastal installations.
  • Sub-10-Second Discharge: A wide-bore release valve and matched nozzle deliver the full agent charge in ten seconds or less, flooding the enclosure before a Class A or Class B fire can spread to adjacent equipment.
  • Automatic and Manual Actuation: Solenoid actuation fires the system from the control panel after a 30 second evacuation delay, while a mechanical manual release and a remote emergency pull station provide two independent human override paths.
  • Zero-Residue Clean Agent: HFC-227ea carries an ozone depletion potential of zero, discharges as a non-corrosive gas, and leaves no conductive dust, so servers, switchgear and laboratory instruments continue working immediately after the event.
  • Integrated Detection and Control Cabinet: Smoke and heat detectors, alarm sounders, manual call points and the release panel are mounted in the same enclosure as the cylinder, eliminating the separate control cabinet that piped network systems require.

Applications

The 120L red HFC-227ea system is specified wherever a fire must be stopped inside a sealed room without damaging the contents. Typical installations include data centres and server halls, telecom base station shelters, UPS and battery rooms, process control rooms, archive and record storage, museum display areas, clean rooms, anechoic chambers, medical imaging suites and emergency power facilities. The same cabinet also protects high-risk production zones such as paint spraying lines, oil-immersed transformers, printing machinery, ageing racks and generator rooms, because the clean agent works on energised electrical equipment without risk of short circuits.

Installation and Service

Because the cylinder, valve, solenoid, nozzle, detectors and release panel leave the factory as one tested assembly, installation requires no pipe network calculation and no welding on site. A two-person crew normally positions the cabinet, anchors it to the floor, connects the 220V feed to the panel and routes the discharge pipe through the wall into the protected space. Cylinders are refillable, the pressure gauge is visible through the cabinet door, and a five-year quality guarantee covers the vessel and valve assembly.

Packaging & Quality Assurance

Each system is packed in a plywood outer case with bubble bag and paper corner protection, strapped and moisture sealed for sea freight. Every cylinder is hydrostatically tested and every valve is helium leak checked before shipment, and the unit is supplied with filling certificates, a pressure test report, an installation and commissioning manual and a wiring diagram. Delivery is normally 15 to 20 working days after receipt of payment or confirmed L/C, with a supply capacity of 30,000 sets per year.
