IG541 Inert Gas Fire Suppression System
Product Overview:
IG541 is a mixed gas IG541 fire extinguishing agent composed of three gases: 52% nitrogen, 40% carbon dioxide, and 8% oxygen. It is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic, and non-conductive gas. Its ozone depletion potential value (ODP) is 0, and its global warming potential value (GWP) is 0. It remains in the atmosphere for a very short period of time and is a green and environmentally friendly fire extinguishing agent.
Types of fires applicable:
The IG541 mixed gas fire extinguishing system can be used to extinguish the following types of fires: A-type - surface fires of combustible solids, such as fires on the surface of wood and fiber materials; B-type - fires of combustible liquids, such as fires caused by heptane or gasoline combustion; C-type - gas fires that can be cut off the gas source before extinguishing; E-type - electrical equipment fires. It is not suitable for extinguishing D-type reactive metal fires, nor is it suitable for extinguishing compounds containing oxides.
Applicable locations:
It is mainly applicable to the fire protection of large computer rooms, communication rooms, control rooms, valuable equipment rooms, cultural relics and archives storage rooms, libraries and archives, data storage rooms, generator rooms, oil-immersed transformer rooms, power distribution rooms, circuit breakers, circulating equipment, hydraulic equipment, drying equipment, dust removal equipment, painting production lines and other places or equipment.
